Is there anything better than sunset from the water, especially on a warm summer night? Bring the day to a close with a trip down the French Broad River at sunset, and escape the heat of the middle day—as well as the midday crowds.

By 7pm the tubers have gone home (or stumbled to the nearest bar), and aside from the herons emerging at dusk, we have the river to ourselves. 

At the end of the 4-mile paddle downstream, you finish in the heart of the River Arts District where restaurants, breweries, music venues, and bars are all just a few minutes away.
